Education Needed

A bachelor's degree is required for any job in this field, and many also require graduate school. Some jobs in this field may require a master's degree or a Ph.D. Most people start out with a bachelor's degree in science, and take biology classes along with various math classes, physics, and chemistry. Majoring in marine biology is not recommended even if you do want to evetually become a marine biologist. Most students these days also go to graduate school if they are serious about becoming a marine biologist.
